Dutch beer brand Grolsch, known for its iconic swing-top bottle, improved their beer can with a special taste-protecting foil on the inside called Quality Liner. Drinking beer from a can now competes with drinking from a bottle.
Alfred International came up with a concept for a TVC, which actually showed the foil and beer inside the can. It soon turned out choosing for CGI was the way to go and that’s where we came in. As a basis we chose to set up a shoot in a bar and shot the background as well as HDRI to use as for a realistic environment and lighting. The TVC is broadcasted both on Dutch television and in cinemas across the country.
