The Spoken Project remixes spoken word with music. They came up with a new album, Spoken by dr. Birgit Lühr, and asked us to create a teaser. Our friends Bob Joosten and Koen Knevel joined us and we came up with a concept that fuses live action, typeface and animation.
The Spoken Project aims on reinventing learning and change the way knowledge is being absorbed and processed. To that end they reinterpret themes and topics that move people with a combination of sounds, music and images. Each topic is waiting to be interpreted in a new way. On first sight this may sound like pure chaos. In reality it is exactly the way our brain works, combining content in a non-linear manner. There are no boundaries between different themes, sounds and pictures…and it is precisely this concept, which serves as the basis for The Spoken Project.
